Cloud computing is great in that we can be stronger, flexible with a better return on the amount of money put into it.
- PC Magazine will go out of print. However the online version will still be available. You still can go to PCmag.com for computer information. Smart money is saying online, online advertising is the biggest bang per dollar.
- Google is looking to have Chrome pre-installed on some computers. This is something that Firefox has not been able to do. With Chrome pre-installed with give definite bit into Mircrosoft’s Internet Explorer market share.
- WiFi on airlines, or internet during your flight. Virgin American has it other airlines will follow.
- Google is coming out with more search tools. It is called Search Wiki. Watch the demo
- Department of Defense has ban the use of USB drives and other portable storage media because it is spreading a worm. Any security administrator, worth their salt, knows that you keep portable media out of the security enviroment, otherwise you just asking for problems.
PC.com - This week I would like to recommend PC.com as a webste to help you buy a new desktop or laptop. This is a good website to recommend to your friends that don’t now that much about how their computer works or what to look for when buying a new one.
The entire website has some very high end graphic. It looks goods and has good information.
Power Napping - If you are like me who has more to do than there are hours in a day. I have use the concept of a power nap for years. Then it comes to Sunday afternoon I will sleep for 3 or more hours.
I have found website that has some background sounds to help me relax. It is called NapSounds.com. They offer three choices; Electronic, Classic and Nature. You can listen them online or download your favorite.
